Demo · not open for live business
The Cuttleflow Marketplace is being built with the brokers and markets who will use it. It is not open for live business, and nothing on these pages or in the demo is a quote, an offer or cover. Cuttleflow Pty Limited does not hold an AFSL and does not issue, arrange or advise on insurance products. Each class opens only when its opening conditions are met, including licensing advice.
Cuttleflow Marketplace
A distribution network for specialty insurance, on one standard.
Brokers win clients and submit once to every market that wants the risk. Underwriting agencies receive complete submissions matched to their own rules. Every quote is on the same wording.

Market access
- One submission to every eligible market
- Specialist agencies you may not otherwise reach
- Comparable quotes on the same wording
- Excess layers and guest markets
Client acquisition
- Branded links, forms and the lookup on your website
- Referrals from the public marketplace
- Priority leads with a response timer
Productivity
- The client answers once; no re-keying
- Renewal rounds prefilled
- Every open submission and quote in view
- Placement and client reports from the record
Commercial opportunity
- More opportunities to write business
- Cross-sell with indications across your book
- Better retention with fuller cover
Placing is free. Your own channels are free during the beta. Public marketplace leads will have a flat monthly fee per industry when they open, not tied to the number of leads you receive or policies you bind. Client acquisition in full → · Placing in full →
The public industry funnel In development
A business looking for cover becomes a qualified submission.
- SearchesA business describes what it does, or browses twelve industries.
- Sees its coversThe industry lookup lists the covers it is likely to need, and why.
- Gets an indicationA few questions, then an indicative price range where two or more insurers publish rates.
- Is referredIt agrees to be referred to one named broker, with that broker’s FSG.
- The broker respondsFirst contact within one business hour, then the full application.
- Markets quoteThe broker places through the Marketplace; agencies receive a complete submission.
- Each lead goes to one broker only and is never sold to several. Allocation never depends on how much a broker pays.
- An indicative price is not a quote or an offer. Cuttleflow does not advise on or arrange insurance; the broker does, under its own licence.
- The public marketplace opens only when the licensing it needs is in place and insurers have agreed to show their prices.
For underwriting agencies
Distribution and qualified deal flow
Distribution
Your product in front of every participating broker in the class, without building distribution yourself.
Qualified submissions
Complete, on the standard, and checked against your underwriting rules before you see them.
Lower acquisition cost
Brokers reach you through the network, not one email at a time.
Your rules and discretion
You quote what your rules accept and refer or decline the rest. You are never obliged to quote a submission.

- The client answers onceOn the standard question set for the class, in the broker’s branding.
- The broker picks a formatGet quotes, package, renewal with the current insurer first, indication only, excess layers, or one market.
- Markets quote on the standardShown in the order they arrive. Cuttleflow does not rank markets.
- Bind here, with documentsSchedules or a placing slip, and a policy input sheet for the market’s own booking.

Class by class
Each class opens when its conditions are met
- Enough underwriting markets with broad enough appetite have committed.
- Brokers with business in the class have committed renewals.
- Version 1.0 of the questions, wording and documents is frozen, and lawyers have signed off the wording.
- Capacity providers have consented to the channel and forms where required.
- Licensing and competition advice has been applied, and the platform terms, privacy policy and AI statement are final.
