Demo · not open for live business
The Cuttleflow Marketplace is being built with the brokers and markets who will use it. It is not open for live business, and nothing on these pages or in the demo is a quote, an offer or cover. Cuttleflow Pty Limited does not hold an AFSL and does not issue, arrange or advise on insurance products. Each class opens only when its opening conditions are met, including licensing advice.
Operating commitments · version 0.1 · October 2026
How Cuttleflow runs the marketplace
Ten commitments that apply from the demo onwards. They will form part of the participant terms when the first class opens, so each one is enforceable by the participants it protects.
No ranking and no paid placement
Quotes are shown to the broker in the order they arrive. Members are never ranked above guests, and no market can pay to appear higher or more often.
No payment that depends on who wins
Cuttleflow takes no payment that depends on which market a broker chooses.
No role in price or terms
Cuttleflow does not broke, underwrite or advise on the price or terms of any placement. Matching, referral and bind follow each market’s own rules and authority levels. Cuttleflow’s AI runs in Microsoft Azure in Australia, makes no decisions in the quote or bind path, and only summarises and does external research.
The same published terms for each type of participant
Every broker, member market and guest market is on the published terms for its type. No participant has terms that others cannot see. Any charge is published before it applies, and no charge depends on which market a broker chooses or on the premium written.
Your data is used only for you
A participant’s information is used to run the platform for that participant and for nothing else without its consent. It is never given to another participant, and never used for any Cuttleflow business’s own trading. Anything Cuttleflow shows about the market as a whole is a de-identified total.
Consultation one participant at a time
Cuttleflow consults each market and broker separately, never passes one participant’s views to another, and publishes each change to the standard with its own reasons.
Reasons and review before any suspension
A refusal or suspension is made against published criteria, with written reasons. Where possible a warning comes first. The participant can ask for a review by someone at Cuttleflow who was not involved in the decision.
Notice before changes
Participants receive at least 90 days’ notice of any new charge or any change to the participant terms or charges, and may leave without penalty before it applies. No change applies to a placement already under way.
Leave with your data
A browser is enough to use the platform. Each participant can export its own data in a documented format at any time, without charge.
Interests declared
Cuttleflow lists its related businesses and any interest it or its directors hold in a participant. Those businesses use the marketplace on the same published terms as everyone else.
These commitments replace the earlier draft Constitution and Independence Roadmap, which were written for an earlier design of the marketplace.
